Health Check-up

The first health camp and general health check was conducted on the 19th of April, 2024, and was a resounding success. In collaboration with phlebotomists from Dr. Dang’s Laboratory, attendees of the health camps were able to get tested for a range of sexually transmitted illnesses such as herpes simplex (1 & 2), syphilis, HIV, HCV, and Hepatitis B. Additionally, they were also able to avail of standard diagnostic tests such as kidney and liver function tests, a complete blood count, and a lipid profile, among others. Furthermore, to assist with the interpretation of test results, Project RIGHT also facilitated post test consultations with a doctor so as to determine any next steps that may be required. Over the course of a few months, Project RIGHT will seek to conduct around three to four more health camps to ensure greater accessibility to quality healthcare for the target demographic.
